Poster Art for Django and its Unofficial Sequels

I think I've seen most of these. I think.

I've only seen the trailer for Viva Django. How's that one? The trailer looked good. Also, have you seen any of the Sartana movies? If so, what did you think?

VIVA DJANGO is actually one of the few solid fake sequels - I recommend it. And i've seen Sartana films but randomly so I can't comment well on them. I've not been impressed enough to seek them out and run through them, so take that for what its worth.

I enjoyed the Gianni Garko Sartana movies. They're not great, but never boring. They're James Bond as a spaghetti western. Django is my second favorite Corbucci western. The Great Silence is number one. How do you feel about the Corbucci westerns that weren't on your list like Navajo Joe, Minnesota Clay and so on?

NAVAJO JOE was good but not great - I need to watch it again to check my initial 'meh' reaction. MINNESOTA CLAY I saw years ago and wasn't impressed by at all. I need to rewatch it one day as well. I also need to watch RINGO AND HIS GOLDEN PISTOL.

Navajo Joe is good. Aldo Sambrel is great in it. The funny thing is Burt Reynolds' hair piece resembles Frankensteins from Frankenstein Conquers the World. I thought Minnesota Clay was alright. The best part is the climax. There are two versions floating around. One where he dies saving his daughter and one where he lives and gets glasses. I prefer the realistic, downbeat ending.
